Q: What is permanent make-up?
A: It is a safe, sterile procedure for the face & body. Pigments are introduced into the dermis (second layer of skin) with a specially designed instrument. These contain no known skin irritants and the results are immediate and permanent!
Q: Is the procedure painful?
A: During the procedure clients may experience minor discomfort similar to having one’s eyebrows tweezed. The short period of discomfort is more than offset by the lifetime of convenience this procedure will provide you.
Q: What colors can be created?
A: In addition to custom blending, there are over 50 standard colors from which to choose.
Q: How long will it last?
A: Permanent make-up never wears off. I offer free touch-ups for one year with each procedure. An additional touch-up may be necessary after 2-3 years. The cost for this is $125.00
Q: What about allergic reactions?
A: Many thousands of women have had this procedure done without incident. However, I can do a patch test at your request.
Q: Who can benefit from this procedure?
A: The woman who always wants to look her best:
· The busy woman who doesn’t have time to apply make-up each day or want to mess with constant touch-ups during the course of their day.
· Those who have lost hair, eyebrows or lash lines due to accidents, heredity, cancer, etc...
· Those who are allergic to make-up.
· Most importantly, no more pulling or tugging on skin, thus less wrinkling on mouth and delicate eye areas.

The procedure results in visible redness, some swelling and occassional bruising. The application of ice to the area can help reduce these symptoms.
Up to 1 Week After:
Most swelling and tenderness will be gone. There will be peeling of the skin and sloughing off of the pigment trapped in the epidermis. As the skin heals, the color will continue to change for the next few weeks.
2 Months After:
Healing is complete. You may add to or adjust your procedure to suit your lifestyle. The application of good sun screen and good sun sense will help preserve your makeup for years to come.
My Final Advice:
Whether you choose me or another technician always ask for an on site consultation so you can assure cleanliness, certificates of training and most important a health department license.
